We rely entirely on donations.  

We gladly accept donations of non-perishable dry goods as well. Pantry items like pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, soups, beans, etc. are always appreciated, as well as toiletry and hygiene items, including baby essentials like diapers, wipes and formula. 

Donations for resale in our self-run thrift shop. Clearing out your closet or decluttering your home? We’d love to take your stuff off your hands. Drop off gently used clothing, linens, knickknacks, toys, books, small furniture and other goods on Wednesdays to our thrift store located on site off Wilson Ave south of the U.S. 60. All proceeds from the sales of thrift store items benefit our foodbank mission.

Donation times are Wednesdays between 6:00am and 9:00am and Thursdays between 7:30am and 11:00am.

Saguaro Jane’s is proud of our legacy, and wants to see our mission continue for generations to come. What began as a World War II victory garden to provide our neighbors with fresh fruits and vegetables has grown into so much more. Saguaro Jane’s, also known as the Wittmann Food Bank, supplies individuals and families from multiple zip codes along the historic U.S. 60, with essential grocery items every week. 

Our efforts depend solely on donations and we are entirely a non-profit charitable organization and 100% volunteer – no one receives any form of salary. 

Here’s how you can help!

We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to help continue our mission of serving our communities and those less fortunate. Our main goal is to build our team with individuals with a young, fresh perspective to expand our reach to better serve our communities. Volunteers need to be compassionate with a giving heart, and should be willing and able to:

• Lift around 35 pounds.
• Withstand the hot Arizona heat during distribution times.
• Work with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Be available during our main distribution days, in addition to other times.
