Did you know....?

As a resident of Arizona, you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for your donation to us with an increased amount: up to $421 (single) or $841 (married filing jointly). This is an increase from previous years of $400 and $800, respectively.  That means you can help even more Arizonas struggling to feed their families.

or in person on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We rely entirely on donations.

We gladly accept donations of non-perishable dry goods as well. Pantry items like pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, soups, beans, etc. are always appreciated, as well as toiletry and hygiene items, including baby essentials like diapers, wipes and formula.

Donations for resale in our self-run thrift shop. Clearing out your closet or decluttering your home? We’d love to take your stuff off your hands. Drop off gently used clothing, linens, knickknacks, toys, books, small furniture and other goods on Wednesdays to our thrift store located on site off Wilson Ave south of the U.S. 60. All proceeds from the sales of thrift store items benefit our foodbank mission.

Donation times are Wednesdays between 6:00am and 9:00am and Thursdays between 7:30am and 11:00am.

Our Mission

About 2 million Arizonans (1 in 4 children) face food insecurity every year, which means about 30% of our neighbors are considered “working poor,” living on wages that barely cover housing and basic necessities. Saguaro Jane’s, also known as the Wittmann Food Bank, provides weekly food distributions to families in need to combat those harrowing statistics. Located in Wittmann, Arizona, Saguaro Jane’s serves individuals and families from Wittmann, Wickenburg, Aguila, Morristown, and Circle City, as well as from some zip codes of Surprise.

What We Do

Thanks to our partnership with St. Mary’s Food Bank, Saguaro Jane’s is unique in the fact that we are able to distribute fresh food packages to families every Thursday, while most other food banks are only able to distribute once a month. Weekly distribution is from 10am – 1pm on Thursdays, and we are located on the Southern side of the US-60 at 21802 W. Wilson Ave in Wittmann, Arizona.

Commodity Monday

Furthermore, every third Monday of the month is our “Commodity Monday” from 10am – 1pm, which includes the federal government programs TEFAB and CSFP.  TEFAP is The Emergency Food Assistance Program which benefits anyone 18+ who qualifies, by helping supplement the diet of low income individuals and families. CSFP is Commodity Senior Food Program which benefits people 60 and over who qualify. Seniors receive nutritious supplements to their diets once a month.

Making an Impact

Saguaro Jane’s is a non-profit, 501C(3), which is solely operated thanks to hard-working volunteers and monetary donations. Our thrift store, maintained by volunteers, contributes to the operating costs of the food bank. The thrift store can receive donations on Wednesdays from 6:00am to 9:00am and Thursdays from 7:30am to 11:00am. Additional times can be arranged by calling 623-388 2683 . The Saguaro Jane thrift store is open to the public on Thursdays from 7:30am to 12:30pm. Additional opening times will be announced on this website. We are always looking for gently used clothing, toys, knickknacks, linens, household items, small furniture (please, no large furniture donations due to limited space).
